It is important to take care of yourself during pregnancy and being a fitness-lovin' woman it was difficult to embrace my new belly and changing body. However, finding stylish pieces made me feel beautiful and put-together. So here are some of the items that I felt were a must-have for my back to back pregnancies (yes, you read that right, back to back, two babies under 2, I wouldn't recommend to any human).

The staples that create a great base are

1. Two great pairs of jeans one distressed and one non-distressed

2. Nice black maternity leggings, I swear they are the most comfortable things ever and you will live in them postpartum when you still look pregnant.

3. Work pants, now depending on your job you might want more than one pair

4. Neutral tanks and tees

5. A couple basic body-con dresses and skirts

6. A couple flowy skirts and dresses

7. A pair of lounge shorts and distressed denim shorts

Suggestion is to splurge on jeans, leggings, work pants and a really beautiful dress that you can wear to events and your shower.

Last but not least, we suggest purchasing something fun that you may not wear if you weren't pregnant. This is a time you can branch out because you are carrying a life! I bought cute overalls and my "circus dress" and I loved them both! They are fashion risks I wouldn't have taken prior to pregnancy! Have fun with because labor is NOT fun!:)
