Celebrating 10 years of marriage COVID style.

We had big plans for our 10 year wedding anniversary this year. A destination trip with our family and closest friends was on the vision board to renew our vows, but COVID had other plans for us.

Dustin and I have been together much longer than the 10 years we have been married and as the old adage states, "marriage isn't always easy" but one thing I am sure of is that I chose the best partner to raise children and navigate life with. Through all of the ups and downs that life has thrown our way we have stayed a constant support for one another, not perfect but steadfast.

Knowing a trip for vow renewal was not in the cards for us this year, we were challenged with planning a COVID friendly date night. Like many of you, we have been sheltering in place, working from home and with our children and we were in need of some alone time. We had a lovely sushi picnic dinner outside with dessert and LOTS of laughs!

COVID may have thrown a wrench into our plans but much like marriage, we improvised and made the best the situation and if this is our new "normal" I know that we will continue to make the absolute best of things and laugh until our bellies hurt! Moral of the story here, go with the flow, smile, laugh and throw on a great dress to make the best night possible. (also, bring some bug spray). Stylish Pregnancy on a Budget

Styling a bump is not always simple, but it can be fun!

It is important to take care of yourself during pregnancy and being a fitness-lovin' woman it was difficult to embrace my new belly and changing body. However, finding stylish pieces made me feel beautiful and put-together. So here are some of the items that I felt were a must-have for my back to back pregnancies (yes, you read that right, back to back, two babies under 2, I wouldn't recommend to any human).

The staples that create a great base are

1. Two great pairs of jeans one distressed and one non-distressed

2. Nice black maternity leggings, I swear they are the most comfortable things ever and you will live in them postpartum when you still look pregnant.

3. Work pants, now depending on your job you might want more than one pair

4. Neutral tanks and tees

5. A couple basic body-con dresses and skirts

6. A couple flowy skirts and dresses

7. A pair of lounge shorts and distressed denim shorts

Suggestion is to splurge on jeans, leggings, work pants and a really beautiful dress that you can wear to events and your shower.

I bought cute overalls and my "circus dress" and I loved them both! They are fashion risks I wouldn't have taken prior to pregnancy! Have fun with because labor is NOT fun!:)

LIKEtoKNOW.it is a platform that has completely transformed the world of marketing and social influencing. This platform has an app and webpage that holds thousands of social influencer's favorite fashion finds and home goods that can be shopped by consumers. The best aspect is when you are scrolling through Instagram and see an influencer wearing a top you like, now you can find her top with a direct link to it. It's insanely genius!

We are on the app often looking for affordable outfit ideas, great Amazon steals or outfit style inspiration. All the work is done for you on LIKEtoKNOW.it, you just have to find the outfit or image you like, double tap or screenshot that picture on Instagram, and then you can shop the photo.

The app works with a number of retailers and not only expensive high priced brands. The app allows you to search tags like, #ltkunder50 or #ltkunder100. These tags are used by influencers to indicate how affordable their outfit is. 

Step by Step How To Navigate LIKEtoKNOW.it 

1. Download the LiketoKnowit App in the App Store 

2. Sign up on the app with your instagram name or just your email address 

3. Start shopping either on Instagram or on the app! 

Shopping on the app; you can find the links to the items pictured directly below the photo. If you still want to receive an email to find the product again, then "like" the picture or screenshot the photo in the app. 

Shopping LTKI through instagram, look for the LTKI symbol in the bottom right corner of the photo (see example below). This symbols helps indicate that it is a shoppable picture through the app. If you like that picture or screenshot it, you will also get an email with the links to everything you'll want to buy later.
